Did you Know?
Among other protections, the Protected Disclosures Act 2014, provides that an Employee who is dismissed as a result of having made a protected disclosure may claim up to 5 years’ remuneration from his employer under the Unfair Dismissals Act 1977. An application may also be made to the Circuit Court for relief pending the determination or settlement of an unfair dismissals claim, which may include re-engagement of the Employee.
